Welcome to Henson Farms!

Henson Farms is one of the premier neighborhoods in Guilford County and is the first premier neighborhood to be established in Summerfield.   The neighborhood includes 94 residences which are all on large lots in what was previously a horse farm owned by the Henson family.  In addition to over 50 acres of landscaped common areas and almost 3 miles of sidewalks lit by beautiful gas lamps, Henson Farms residents can enjoy a number of amenities.

These wonderful amenities help make Henson Farms the prominent neighborhood it has become.  Adjacent to the large pool are two tennis courts, a children’s playground, and a clubhouse that can be rented for events.  The neighborhood has a well-maintained soccer field and a beautiful gazebo in an old aviary, which was loved by the Henson family.  Right in the middle of the neighborhood  is Henson Lake, which is surrounded by a walking trail, that can be paddled on and fished in.  There is an access path that leads into Summerfield Community Park as well, enabling residents to walk or bike safely to Summerfield Elementary School, and nearby businesses.

Another item that sets Henson Farms apart from other Summerfield neighborhoods is that  Henson Farms has a 100% homeowner run and managed homeowners association.  The very active HOA includes five committees coordinating the upkeep and improvement of the neighborhood amenities, overseeing homeowner compliance with neighborhood standards and organizing member social activities.  All of this makes for a highly engaged association deeply committed to maintaining Henson Farms' standing as a premier neighborhood.

Henson Farms has helped set the standard for premier neighborhoods in our town and county not only because of the design of the neighborhood and the amenities, but because of the people that live there.  Active and friendly neighbors in a rural setting close to town – it’s a great place to live.
